Advanced Achievement in Transplant Management

Course Outline

This course is intended to be a rigorous self-study on transplant case management. There are multiple parts to the course: 8 webinar sessions providing the basics of transplant case management and 2 Medical Round Table Webinars (offered monthly). These are required for course completion to attain the AATMC designation. All core webinars have been recorded and are available to be viewed on this website.

Core Webinars: There are eight core webinars within the AATMC course. Each section has support materials found on this website. Please review these materials prior to the on-line training session. Upon conclusion of each webinar, you will need to complete a post-test on the INTERLINK website in which you must achieve a passing grade to complete the section.

- Mastering the “COE” Concept (1 hour)

- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) (1 hour)

- Primary Transplant Websites (1 hour)

- Getting Prepared Part 1 (1 hour)

- Getting Prepared Part 2 (1 hour)

- Transplant Contracts (1 hour)

- Claims Operations (1 hour)

- Course Wrap-up (1 hour)

Medical Round Table Webinars: Two Medical Round Table Webinars are required for course completion. These webinars are offered monthly and are open to everyone, not just AATMC participants.

Webinars/Using the GoToWebinar® Program: For this course, the GoToWebinar® web-based conferencing program is used for the wrap-up session. Prior to these sessions, you will receive a registration email. You MUST register prior to the session. When registering for the webinar, you will be asked to provide your name and company for CCM certification purposes. Once registered, a second e-mail will be sent to you with a link to join the presentation on the specific date and time. The presentation will be given in real-time over the internet so once you have joined the webinar, the presentation will appear on your screen. You will also have a control panel where you can ask questions by typing them.

Receiving CCM Credits: Post-tests will be available online within each course section.  CCM credits for the core webinars will not be issued until completion of the entire course; CCM credits for each Medical Round Table will be issued as they are completed. Again, the participation in the AATMC webinars and completion of the post-tests are mandatory portions of this program.
