Contraindications


Absolute Contraindications

        •    Cancer, other than superficial skin cancers, within the past two to five years
        •    Active UTI
        •    Ongoing or recurring infections that are not effectively treated
        •    Active tuberculosis
        •    Irreversible heart failure
        •    Irreversible lung failure
        •    Irreversible liver failure
        •    Active systemic disease (lupus, sickle cell disease, Wegener's disease)
        •    Demonstrated and repeated episodes of medical noncompliance
        •    Unresolved psychosocial issues

Relative Contraindications

        •    HCV infection
        •    HBV infection
        •    HIV positive
        •    Morbid obesity
        •    Atherosclerosis
        •    Cardiac disease
        •    Uncontrolled hypertension
        •    Tobacco Use
